Hi! My name is Pampi. I believe in and work towards the application of the arts for strategic intervention and political mobilization of people's movements. On that note, I design wearable art; develop experimental performance pieces through community workshop techniques; write poetry; and host potlucks. I am currently making a big leap: committing to securing a studio. While my forte is in pen and ink, I enjoy experimenting with video, poetry, movement and installation. In my work I tend to engage issues of identity, gender, sexuality and the body politic. There is also a marked obsession with blood, bones and goddesses. Beyond my studio time, I am currently working on a Masters thesis in studio art, Collapsing the Binary Distinctions between Body and Dress.
