The Sock Puppets hail from the Kennerbunks in Southern Maine, and weave together Dark Ages folk, 80’s skate punk, 70’s Stones, funk and jam rock influences into a transportive, improvisational fusion of country-punk and trance-grass.

When the Sock Puppets play, songbirds weep. Fish leave the sea and evolve into walking fish. Boulders transform into sky-trout…and then unicorns appear in bursts of sparkly rainbows and eat them.
