Katy Bowser and Kenny Hutson

Katy and Kenny Hutson hail from the thriving and quirky community of East Nashville, Tennessee. Kenny grew up on bluegrass, Katy grew up on jazz. They met, he asked her out. She said yes, but was on tour. Could he ask again? He did. Sparks flew, they got married, they wrote songs, they toured.

As of late, Katy largely plays with kid's jazz outfit Coal Train Railroad and sings Bible songs for little children with Rain for Roots. Kenny plays and tours with various and sundry groups including Jim Lauderdale, Julie Lee, Over the Rhine, Kim Richey and David Crowder. Their favorite gig is on porches with good friends like David and Kelly Richter.
