Intimations Dance is contemporary dance company creating and performing new original choreography throughout the Greater Boston area. "Intimations" as a word has so many meanings depending on the context. It means to express something as a whisper, or as a shout, refers to ones essential or innermost meaning and denotes a close friend or confidant. Company members and collaborators participate in the creative process as both dancers and choreographers, and the company positions performers and/or participants central to developing our work. We work with local music makers, interactive artists and new venues to expand our capability for story-telling. The company’s mission is to give voice to our social concerns in hopes of connecting with our audiences’ shared experiences.
