Infusing elements of early and contemporary shoegaze with a touch of 80s post-punk and new romanticism, The Shallows of Somerville, MA crafts ethereal, multi-layered tracks marked by sometimes haunting, sometimes soaring vocals and unforgettable hooks. Evolving since 2019, the band solidified their sound, culminating in the release of their debut album, "Wave States," and signing with Mint 400 Records. The band will be releasing new singles and videos in 2024 while broadening their live footprint to New England and beyond.
