Maura Mendoza showed early inclinations in performing arts and music, participating in every high school play in her hometown, El Salvador, and later in Panama. She attended college in Havana, Cuba, and later joined a musical theater school in Mexico City. Along the way Maura developed a family musical workshop called “Ding-Dong: Quién Es? – Playing & Learning Latin Rhythms,” where she introduces children to Latin American songs in Spanish, English, Portuguese and beyond! Maura works with local schools, libraries, and museums, plays at many venues and has just recorded her third studio album.
