Multi-media Artist

Hi there! My name is Dina Martinelli and I am a painter and art teacher in the greater Boston area. I graduated with a BFA in Painting from Boston University in 2015, and hold 2 masters degrees in teaching. In the studio, I love creating large scale acrylic paintings which have recently been about places and cities, and draw inspiration from maps and topography. I also create custom watercolor pet and house/landscape portraits on my etsy page. Thanks for stopping by!

As an artist, my goal is to create liminal spaces where viewers can escape the constraints of reality and enter a world of vivid color, play, and joy. Through my work, I aim to explore the boundaries of the traditional art world and push the limits of what is possible.

Lauren is a stay-at-home mom of two young children, who paints in her spare time. She resides in Somerville, Massachusetts, and enjoys painting scenes from her surroundings: the sky, local haunts, and her children. In high school, she enjoyed painting large murals, and studied painting and sculpture at Gordon College. She then spent over five years working with and teaching ceramics, including designing and overseeing several community ceramic installation projects at the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Boston and Roxbury.

I am a multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, sound, photo and film. My work magnifies the visual memory and embedded feeling in everyday joys. It plays with subtlety and perception through color, light, surprise and humor. Memory and convergence are continuous threads throughout my body of work. My interest in collective memory and the interpretation of shared experiences has been shaped by my identity as a triplet. 

Apple Jack is an exotic mime and multi-mixed media artist who spends much of their time crafting whatsits inspired by a lifetime of hypervigilance, staring at moss, and trying to understand what is both inside and outside of the glass box. Their work has been shown in galleries in Salem, Lynn, and Boston. They are a current member of Galleries at Lynn Arts. 

They moved to Somerville in September of 2020 to be closer to the weird art sculpture park on the Somerville Community Path. They revel in found objects, the sounds of crickets in summer, and the dreams of lost childhood. 

Music producer, audio engineer, sound designer.

BØLT, aka Christopher Bolte, is a German-born, Somerville-based music producer, beat maker, audio engineer, and sound designer. His primary genres are hip hop, pop, and instrumental beat music. As a producer and audio engineer he works with artists from around the country and the world to fully realize their musical vision and provide his signature musical touch through unique instrumentals and professional mixing and mastering.

Born in Colorado to Brazilian parents, and growing up in Rio, Brazil, Csekö moved to Somerville, MA in 2010 to pursue an MFA at SMFA at Tufts. In 2022, Csekö is a Somerville Arts Council grantee, a CTV MassCreative Fellow, and a Somerville Museum Community Curator, she was also invited as an AIR at Sculpture Space, upstate NY. In 21’ she received a SAC Visual Arts Fellowship and was an AiR at the Umbrella Art Center 20-21’ in Concord MA. In 2020 she was invited as a Visiting Artist by Emerson College.

We're Maddie and Justin Copp of Copp Creature Shop

Maddie is a published illustrator, sculpter and trained puppeteer, and Justin is a DIY robotcist, sculpter and amature puppeteer, radio personality, voice actor, and digital media maker.

Together we founded a puppetry and animatronics production studio, producing puppet shows on Youtube, and providing puppet, creature, prop, animatronic, and sculptural services to the greater new England area, and maybe someday the world!
