Hello! My name is Enryka Christopher, and I am an artist in Somerville! I am also a Global Mental Health researcher who focuses on trauma, extremism & violence. My upbringing in a notorious cult, the Moonies, has influenced my research interests, and art has been a way throughout my life to help me cope with my own trauma from growing up in an extremist environment. Hi there! My name is Dina Martinelli and I am a painter and art teacher in the greater Boston area. I graduated with a BFA in Painting from Boston University in 2015, and hold 2 masters degrees in teaching. In the studio, I love creating large scale acrylic paintings which have recently been about places and cities, and draw inspiration from maps and topography. I also create custom watercolor pet and house/landscape portraits on my etsy page. Thanks for stopping by!

Growing up in Jamaica, Michael had always had a strong desire to inspire and speak to others through art. In 2012 he left his home country to live in the United States and began pursuing his artistic dreams doing Illustration, Graphic Design, and Animation, and has since been working as a Boston-based Freelance Artist on a wide range of projects, exhibitions, and showcases.

Lauren is a stay-at-home mom of two young children, who paints in her spare time. She resides in Somerville, Massachusetts, and enjoys painting scenes from her surroundings: the sky, local haunts, and her children. In high school, she enjoyed painting large murals, and studied painting and sculpture at Gordon College. She then spent over five years working with and teaching ceramics, including designing and overseeing several community ceramic installation projects at the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Boston and Roxbury.

Adelaide Bruce is a fine artist and muralist. Her work intertwines swathes of vibrant color, pattern, and figurative language. Working with acrylic and brush, she builds compositions with a sense of movement and light. The elaborate patterns and designs within her paintings harmonize with organic forms rendered in vivid detail. 

A resident of Somerville since 2014, she received a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 2016.

Born in Colorado to Brazilian parents, and growing up in Rio, Brazil, Csekö moved to Somerville, MA in 2010 to pursue an MFA at SMFA at Tufts. In 2022, Csekö is a Somerville Arts Council grantee, a CTV MassCreative Fellow, and a Somerville Museum Community Curator, she was also invited as an AIR at Sculpture Space, upstate NY. In 21’ she received a SAC Visual Arts Fellowship and was an AiR at the Umbrella Art Center 20-21’ in Concord MA. In 2020 she was invited as a Visiting Artist by Emerson College.

Chloe Rubenstein was born in Boston, MA in 1989. In 2008, she moved to Washington D.C. where she received a BFA Corcoran School of Art and Design at George Washington University in 2015. During her time at the Corcoran her art was exhibited in Milan, Italy.  From 2013-2015 Rubenstein painted murals in many local bars and restaurants in the DC area. 

Rubenstein then moved to Washington State where she painted murals in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Self-taught ever since I found Microsoft Paint!  Specialize in illustrations, character design, animal portraits, and of course, colors.

I have worked with a few local businesses designing merchandise art for t-shirts, etc.
