SomerNOVA: Call to Public Art

10, 000 Mask-Making Campaign: Call to Fabric Artists to make masks
Although local healthcare providers like Cambridge Health Alliance no longer needs mask donations, the City of Somerville urgently seeks 10,000 masks for the most vulnerable members of our community—residents at higher risk of contracting COVID-19, primarily seniors and persons with underlying health conditions.
While the City will be launching a broader call for masks, the Somerville Arts Council is looking for experienced sewists to assist in this initiative. If you are currently making masks and have extra, donations are appreciated.
As a way to help support our art community during this time, stipends will be available for fabric artists who can make 50 masks or more. For more information contact, Heather at email@example.com
