Somerville is full of people with big ideas for bringing neighbors together. Some of the best nights in a city start with one person saying, “What if?” This year, through the Open Call to Event Producers, we’ve opened the door wider, inviting Somerville’s artists and producers to share their what-ifs and helping bring them to life in neighborhoods across the city. We also want Somerville to feel alive all year, not just during peak event season, so this series stretches into the colder months, when a night out with your neighbors is especially welcome.
It’s a spirit this city knows well. Years ago, ArtsUnion filled Union Square with some of its quirkiest, most beloved events, from a Moped Festival and the Beard Festival to silent movie nights scored by live bands. Check out this new winter series!
