For one night only, Kitchen Inc. will transform into an authentic mexican cantina. Start off with a refreshing agua de chia (with cucumber and lime), and get ready for the four course feast that Estela has in store: warm esquites con epazote (corn salad with queso fresco and jalapeno), fresh ensalada di jicama (with cucumber and orange), el plato principal– chiles en nogada (stuffed poblano chiles with a walnut crema and pomogranate seeds), and a cheesecake featuring loca chile-tinged taza chocolate to wrap up the night. Que rico!
Estela is an alum of Somerville's Tu y Yo restaurant, and runs a catering company called Comida Autentica Mexicana. A star instructor for the Nibble cooking classes, Estela has been sharing traditional Mexican home cooking with us for the past year — she's the real deal!
