Brazilian Street Food Pop up with Robson Lemos

Join us for a our first pop up at Union Square's new kitchen space.

Come join us for the Somerville Arts Council's’ Inaugural lunch pop up at Union Square's’ newest culinary incubator, Union Kitchen! We will be featuring our own Robson Lemos’ Brazilian Street Food. Originally from Bahia, Brazil, Robson has been cooking since the age of 13 and is excited to continue to express his love, passion and skill through culture and food. Come taste Bolinho de bacalau, a delicious Brazilian fish cake that draws its influence from Portugal adored all over Brazil and especially Rio de Janeiro. We’ll have Empadinha de Frango Chicken Pie, a delicious savory street snack made with a crumbly flaky crust  found in many pandarias, and street corners throughout the country. Take a bite of Kibe (pronounced Kee-Bee) a popular Middle eastern snack that is reflective of the lebanese culture living in Brazil today, and a traditional salad made with kale and black eyed peas served on the side. Beverages will be available as well.
