Members of New Aura will perform original songs, covers, and an extended improvised jam in our home studio. Our sound is heavily influenced by psychedelic music from the late 60's like The Velvet Underground and The Rolling Stones, as well as more contemporary shoegaze music like The Jesus & Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine. 

Steeped in softness, Hush Club's refined psychedelic sound is at once intimate and expansive: their dreamy, honest rock moves with thoughtful confidence.  Comprised of Alasdair MacKenzie (bass), Chris Haley (guitar), and Liz Kantor (keys), the group's personal lyrics and rich vocal blend make every show an intimate connection between band and audience - and among the members themselves.  Each of Hush Club's songs is an open-hearted effort to explore ambiguity.  Every track asks questions without settling for easy or simple answers.  Even if we must decide what meaning we take away, there is no mistaking that this tight-knit group believes in what they sing.

Miele is a Cambridge-based alternative rock band with psychedelic, grunge, metal, and funk influences. The word 'Miele' translates to 'honey' in Italian. The five-piece band was forged in Cambridge in 2014, emerging out of mutual interests in the intersection of therapy and music. The words of Miele point to the human condition; they celebrate the emotions, spirit, and wisdom that lives and breathes in all of us, as well as the misunderstood rage, the desire, and the chaos that erupts out of us when we cannot give it a voice.
