Singing Bowl

Medium :
Sculpture

Although it's quiet now, this sculpture is also an instrument. It works like a giant bell, when played with an iron ball the size of a shot put, the bowl rings with a sound you can feel and hear.

It's quite a novel (and new) acquisition for Tufts. Yet compared to Chambers’ refurbished helicopters or balloons suspended over lakes, it’s almost traditional! His pieces are known to move, exude scents, change colors, make music, or talk back to their visitors.
