Tony and Clio Flackett

Tony Flackett’s songs are short and to the point with music influenced by hip-hop, country and punk with lyrics that tend toward humorous essays on atypical subject matter. His influences include: Talking Heads, Tom Waits, Aimee Man, Public Enemy and The Minutemen. He uses a looping pedeal with an electronic finger drum to create backing beats on the fly for a full one-person-band sound. For this show he will be performing with his daughter Clio who is a talented singer songwriter in her own right and plays complex music influenced by the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, Adrian Lenker, Stevie Nicks and Clairo. #clio_songs
