Porchfest project/Saklamara has played Boston Porchfest on Springfield street for the past 5 years!
They are a Boston-based world music band with an original and exciting blend of melodic and rhythmic sounds and styles – Eastern Mediterranean, funk, jazz, blues, and pop. We are both a listening and a danceable band. Our group includes vocals, bouzoukis, guitars, saxophone, keyboard, upright and electric bass, drums and other percussion.
