Ruby Grove

New England Music Award-nominated Boston-based band Ruby Grove (2023- now) is a 6-piece indie alternative band inspired by indie & alternative rock, psychedelic rock, trip-hop, soul, indietronica, and jazz-fusion influences. Focused on creating alternately funky, soulful & mystical atmospheres, the band delights in playing with genre in each of their songs. Boston music magazine If It’s Too Loud said of Ruby Grove, “Nothing else in the city [of Boston] sounds anything like Ruby Grove… almost impossibly infectious.” Ruby Grove is Melissa Nilles (vocals/keys/trumpet), Cedric Lamour (bass), Travis Rowland Jr. (drums), Josh Drawdy (guitar), Meredith Blankenship (flute), and Gabe Stillman (sax).
