Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Jordan Brown (she/her, stage name J-Renee) is a fourth year doctoral candidate and performer of the practice at Harvard University. Playing with local Boston group “Jordan and the Boys” from 2022-2025, J-Renee has officially launched her live solo performance career in 2025 in Cambridge, MA. Backed by Oda Agboola on drums, Max Mitchell on bass/sax, and Corin Duey on guitar, J-Renee creates nostalgic alternative R&B music and debuts tunes from her upcoming solo album set for release in summer 2026.
