Steep

Steep is an inclusive, underground party series focused on creating immersive listening experiences on vinyl. Founded by Sam Belt (current resident of Somerville @ 12 Skehan St) and Charles Manzella (lives just over the border in inman square), we both have been coming to porchfest for over a decade. Steep has been running for 2 years and have welcomed over 20 artists from 9 different countries alongside some of the US's own best talent from NYC, Detroit, LA, and Salt Lake City. We curate events and build line ups that include combine these touring artists with homegrown talent, our goal is always to prioritize highlighting under appreciated talent, not social media followers or clout.
