Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Jordan Brown (she/her, stage name J-Renee) is a third year doctoral candidate and performer of the practice at Harvard University. Playing with local Boston group “Jordan and the Boys” from 2022-2025, J-Renee has officially launched her live solo performance career earlier this year in Cambridge, MA. Backed by Oda Agboola on drums, Max Mitchell on bass, and Reza Mirzaiee on guitar, J-Renee creates nostalgic alternative R&B music and debuts tunes from her upcoming solo album set for release in fall 2025.
