Nigun Saloon

We are a group of Cambervillians who love to sing traditional religious Jewish melodies - both wordless "nigunim" and poetic "zemiros." These spirituals have ancient roots, and have special meaning on the Jewish Shabbat, which runs from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. Toward the end of the day Saturday, we begin to mourn the approaching end of Shabbat, so our nigunim and zemiros will tend to take on a mellow, somber style.
