SheBoom is Somerville/Cambridge's only post-menopausal, Brazilian-inspired, percussion and vocal ensemble. We play mash-ups of the music that's been a big part of our lives arranged our teacher, master percussionist Marcus Santos. We've been performing together since 2010: Janine Fay, agogo; Lesley Bannatyne and Adria Steinberg, surdos; Julie Schneider, repinique; Deb Pacini, snare, Candyce Dostert, conga; Lisa Doyle, conga, snare, marimba.
