The Somerville Arts Council in conjunction with City of Somerville’s Public Space and Urban Forestry Division (PSUF) is seeking an experienced working metal artist for a public art project to design and build an entry gate for the Glen Park Community Garden on Franklin Street. We want to show the vibrancy of Somerville and the Glen Park gardening community in a design that is bold and stands out from a distance. It should touch on themes related to community gardening and the neighborhood. While this garden is not open to the general public, the gate should feel welcoming and friendly.
