DESCRIPTION:Jean Appolon Expressions (JAE) and the Somerville Arts Council 
 present:&nbsp\;Ouv&egrave\;ti&nbsp\;\n\nTwo separate showtimes:\nSaturday\
 , June 26th at 5:00pm and 7:00pm.&nbsp\; (Rain Date June 27th)\n\nJAE is t
 hrilled to be taking a site-specific production\, Ouv&egrave\;ti\, to the 
 City of Somerville\, in Seven Hills Park in Davis Square.\n\nJean and the 
 company dancers have continued working\, moving\, and rehearsing in more c
 reative and flexible spaces than ever over the past year and JAE cannot wa
 it to share this unique process with our community.&nbsp\;\n\nJoin us for 
 this free event! No tickets or registration required \, however social dis
 tancing will be followed\, as per the City of Somerville&rsquo\;s Covid-19
  safety guidelines.\n\nAppolon&rsquo\;s latest work in development portray
 s feelings of isolation\, desperation\, fear\, and ultimately nostalgia\, 
 calm\, hope\, and connection that people experiencing trauma might cycle t
 hrough. The movements communicate the powerful experiences of knowing pers
 onal trauma\, seeing it in others\, and yet feeling disconnected due to st
 igma and fear. Bringing together these emotions and experiences through da
 nce\, combined with the soundscape created by musician Val Jeanty\, shines
  a light on injustices\, disparities\, and challenges that audiences may h
 ave experienced or are just becoming aware of. A short opening circle will
  be led by Appolon and company dancers to collectively welcome the communi
 ty into the public space and set the &ldquo\;stage&rdquo\; for the site-sp
