Mental Mapping: The Art of Exploring Connections
Joshua Sariñana’s “Mental Mapping” project explores the connections between art, AI, and neuroscience to map how individuals relate to their environments. Using interviews analyzed by AI, the project creates cognitive maps expressed through photographic portraits, dynamic visuals, and audio excerpts. By integrating physical, social, and digital contexts, it bridges art, science, and technology to foster a deeper understanding of identity and belonging.
