NunweilerTanz, an independent project by Alexandria Nunweiler, equips contemporary dance with comedic theatre to weave lore, truth, and dreams into immersive, thought-provoking performances. Shoulder is a hauntingly beautiful duet that reclaims the true weight of awe. Moving through shadow, stillness, and spirit, the piece explores sacred presence and the guardians we carry. It invites us to ask: what does it mean to be overcome—by wonder, fear, or something beyond ourselves?
