Marji Gere and Dan Sedgwick share favorite music for violin and piano! Program includes music by Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou, Igor Stravinsky, and Gabriel Fauré.
The mission of Around Hear is to forge connections between music, community-building, and public space, by nurturing an abiding partnership between a dedicated team of musicians and the residents, staff, providers, and beneficiaries of the Somerville Housing Authority. Through this partnership, we are establishing and shaping community rituals of inclusive, free musical experiences, in the heart of Somerville’s largest public housing facility.
