The Old North is a lively four piece folk band playing an upbeat style of traditional American music that blends the singer/songwriter genre with jazz, bluegrass, and blues. The band is made up of an acoustic guitarist/singer, electric lead guitar, bass, and drums. Often described as the vocal tones of Ray Lamontagne mixed with lively bluegrass musicianship, The Old North emanates soulfulness and skill with every performance. The band's lead singer released a self titled debut album in early 2016 and a single titled "Caught" in September 2017. Plans for an EP are in the works for spring 2018 which will be the first release under the band name The Old North.

Soul Prophet & the Faithless Few is the stage name for performing artist Noël, an enigmatic and energetic songwriter, singer, actor, and storyteller. His blend of folk, rock, and Americana-inspired acoustic music compliments and underscores original lyrics that are simple, intelligent, and engaging. Whether playing solo, or accompanied by a band, what stands out is Noël’s ability to connect with an audience through his stories and songs, told with passion and playfulness. Jamie Kallestad is 1/2 of the folk/Americana duo 90-Mile Portage (www.90mileportage.bandcamp.com) and 1/3 of the stomp-grass trio Saint Anyway (www.saintanyway.com). He writes and performs folk-rock songs on acoustic guitar, occasionally on his front step with friends. This is what will be happening on May 17 - come say hello!
