Take four people from Louisiana, Vermont, Connecticut, and Sweden.
Add equal parts of folk, old-fashioned country, with a pinch
of bluegrass and gospel. Put it into a pot of cover tunes from
the last century. Spice with plenty of harmony vocals and add an
original or two. That's Tail - rootsy, acoustic, and pleasant.

What to expect? Songs of Neil Young, Beatles, Dylan, Traditionals,
Steve Earl, Grateful Dead, Pixies, 80’s pop\70s hits, originals.
All presented with a very personal touch.

<strong>The Novel Ideas</strong> are a country folk quintet of friends from the great state of Massachusetts that create a blend of pastoral, harmony driven, and plaintive Americana. The last couple years have been spent touring nationally, writing, and recording as a band. Their latest release, <em>St. Paul Sessions</em>, features six unreleased live recordings and aims to capture the raw energy of their live performance.

From the wilds of western MA comes singer-songwriter, Soul Prophet &amp; the Faithless Few! Lyric-driven jazzy folk, funky Americana, bluesy pop, played on acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. The Blue Ribbons was formed by singer/songwriter/keyboardist James Rohr. They have been building a base of devoted fans with their original and soulful music. Described as “Ray Charles and Tom Waits on a pirate ship with Sun Ra and Captain Beefheart,” they combine “upbeat disillusionment and celebratory fatalism with musicianship”.

The Novel Ideas are a country folk quintet of friends from the great state of Massachusetts. Featuring the voices of three different songwriters, The Novel Ideas create a blend of pastoral, harmony driven, and plaintive Americana. They spent the past year playing shows in support of their debut album, “Home,” which was recorded in a barn in Jaffrey, NH. In June 2014 they released a 10" single "Lost on the Road", featuring two new songs and marking the band's first effort as a five piece. They’ve shared the stage with acts such as Lord Huron, Caveman, Little Green Cars, and are currently touring nationally while working on their next record.
