For all the musical freedom ostensibly offered by subculture, it can also be
limiting in its adherence to tradition and genre constraints. Luckily, New
Bedford, MA indie rock luminaries Wire Lines have no regard for such
restrictions. Consisting of four musical veterans who have served time in the likes of
Daltonic, The Hidden, Bury The Needle, Supermachiner, and many other
acts, Wire Lines channel their urgent, hook-laden brand of alt rock through
the lens of the hardcore punk on which they cut their teeth. Where one song evokes the bouncing
pop-punk of Superchunk, the next flirts with the chugging post-hardcore of
Jawbox.

Born out of a Boston rock underground teeming with history and riffs alike, Sundrifter capture the essence of tonal weight with their Small Stone debut, Visitations. Shades of Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone Age appear, but they’re just shades, and Sundrifter’s vision of heavy is their own, someplace between grunge, doom, psychedelia and classic heavy rock. Sundrifter is comprised of guitarist/vocalist Craig Puera, bassist Paul Gaughran and drummer Patrick Queenan
 

An all star lineup made up of members of many iconic Boston bands! Fun garage rock with a side of spookiness. Looking forward to returning this year in full force. The Rockmores write and perform original songs: A mix of power-pop, indie rock, and post-punk, with a focus on strong song craft, tight arrangements, and melodies that will get stuck in your head like a lollipop on a sweater. The songs are about navigating today’s world and how technology affects our relationships.

Stacking Turtles is a Boston-based group of certified jammers. The group formed in the depths of the Boston winter and has emerged onto the music scene alongside the deciduous leaves. The eclectic musical influences of the band drive their tones to unexplored soundscapes.
