The Collect Pond are a 4-piece band from the Boston-area that meld post-punk immediacy with guitar heroics. Upbeat distorted guitars entwine with bobbing bass and precise drumming, to swarm the jeering voice of Danny Moffat. It’s already won a fierce following in just two shows (before '22, the band was a solo project of Moffat’s). The Collect Pond recently headlined and packed The Jungle in Somerville, MA. They are touring in support of 2021’s LP Long Range, which received rave reviews from critics such as Vanyaland, The Big Takeover, and Allston Pudding, as well as local radio play from WZBC, WMBR, and WMFO. My music is influenced by R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop. I'm going for a full studio sound...but solo and without a computer. Expect:
It's a show that's sure to leave you saying "Dan, you joked about this but that's actually too much gear."
