We're Maddie and Justin Copp of Copp Creature Shop

Maddie is a published illustrator, sculpter and trained puppeteer, and Justin is a DIY robotcist, sculpter and amature puppeteer, radio personality, voice actor, and digital media maker.

Together we founded a puppetry and animatronics production studio, producing puppet shows on Youtube, and providing puppet, creature, prop, animatronic, and sculptural services to the greater new England area, and maybe someday the world!

Charlotte Anne Dore has been building puppets for over twenty five years and performing professionally with them for over 20 years. While completing her degree in theatre and visual art in Great Britain, she interned with Movingstage Marionette Company and Unicorn Theatre. Her graduate performance combined live actors and puppets in a production of  Shakespeare’s “Titus Andronicus”.

Randy Ross is a writer, performer, and Web consultant. His fiction and humor have appeared in The Drum, Black Heart Magazine, Side B Magazine, and Calliope, among others. His comedic novel, God Bless Cambodia, was published March 2017 by The Permanent Press. He is currently querying literary agents with his second novel The Squid and the Spaceman.

Dawn M. Simmons, is a playwright and director living in Somerville, MA. She is an Artistic Director with New Exhibition Room. Locally Dawn has worked for: The Theatre Offensive, Holland Productions, FeverFest(Small Theatre Alliance of Boston), The Boston Theatre Marathon, Mill 6, Actors Refuge Repertory Theatre, Fort Point Theatre Channel, Actors' Shakespeare Project, Another Country Productions, Company One, Boston Theatre Works, and As Yet To Be Theatre. In New York State, she spent 3 years with Irish Classical Theatre Company as their Resident Assistant Director.

Ian Thal is a playwright, mime, clown, puppeteer, actor, and theatre educator living in Somerville. With James Van Looy and William J. Barnum, he co-founded Cosmic Spelunker Theater, a mime, poetry, and mask troupe. He has also performed with the radical puppetry troupe, Bread and Puppet Theatre, and the commedia dell’arte troupe, i Sebastiani. He is currently the artistic director of the commedia troupe, Teatro delle Maschere which works in tandem with Somerville-based Behind the Mask Studio & Theatre.
