HELP OUT!
The Somerville Arts Council relies on many supporters to achieve success. Each year over 100 people volunteer roughly 750 hours to help the council produce and administer ArtBeat, the Windows Art Project, the Illumination Tour, our LCC grant program and countless tasks within our office. We could not operate without this volunteer support.
In addition, local businesses, corporations, foundations and individuals contribute approximately 45% of our overall budget. The support we receive from the City and State is great, but without this broad base support we could not operate.
As you browse the "Help Out" section, take a moment and do two things:
- If you know or do business with local businesses or foundations that support the council, please tell them, "Thanks for supporting the Somerville Arts Council."
- Support the Arts Council now, either with time or money--or both!
