The Roy Sludge Trio plays rockabilly/country/roots music with a heaping helping of humor thrown in. With his deep voice and biting sense of humor, Roy has been entertaining roots music fans for the last three decades. The trio includes top notch musicians Duke Levine on electric guitar and Jim Haggerty on upright bass. Their album Too Drunk to Truck, recorded at Somerville’s Q Division, was nominated for Album of the Year at The Boston Music Awards.
